Now that it’s down to the wire. In less than a week I will be done with Japan. I am both sad and excited about it. When I came here a few years back ago, I was absolutely positive that I was going to spend my final days here. I had psyched myself out and did a lot of foundation work to integrate myself here (as far as a gaijin is allowed to at least)
Right now I am hunting down all those Japanese quirks I can get my fill of before its gone; Bread shops, Japanese food (not traditional, but done the J-way) and a sight or two. A big problem is that I have been drained of all money because of the move. There are places I want to go, people I want to see, but no means of doing it. All I can do is sit and putz around in my apartment. Maybe a little more salt in my teary eye is that I will miss cherry blossom season by a mere couple of days.
Well. That’s probably it for now. I will probably post a couple of things on the fly when I am at the airport. I have a looooooong time to do absolutely nothing, there.
Most of the people I have met here I will never see again, and that makes me a little sad. That is just the way of things though.
I’m going to get my full game of Malifaux with you — one of these days. I’ve got reason to head out to SLC for a visit… You’ll know. 🙂

Another thing that I will miss is the a-z game group. I’m a victim of bad timing there.
